BEARIGS AND BUSHES are normally made of strips having Bi-metal (steel backed copper / lead) low carbon-steel cylindrical backup strip on to which the principal bearing material is cast or roll-bonded.

This combination is known as bi-metal bearing. These are used to minimize the friction between two moving parts.

A bearing surface has to be strong to withstand high oil filling pressures.  It needs to be hard to minimize wear and prevent failure from fatigue.

CAMSHAFTS are manufacture through forged and casting process with case hardened AND performs a critical function, and has a great impact on an engine’s performance at different speeds.

The material used at lobes (cams) must be appropriate to ensure optimum performance.

CONNECTING RODS are made of open / closed die from hot steel forging process for heavy duty application, but malleable or spheroid-graphite (SG) iron casting or sinter forgings are beginning to be used for smaller engines.

Small-end fitted with shell bushing or plain for light application and Big-end are normally either serrated or grooved and tongue joints which is having bolts either sides, a pair of split bearing is used inside Big-end housing bore.

CYLINDER HEADS are made from grey cast iron through casting process. There are various types of the heads which suitable for wet sleeve engine, non sleeve etc.

Heads are available in fully machined / ready to use fitted with valve guide and valve seats and proof of machining.

CYLINDER LINERS / BLOCK (AIR COOLED AND WATER COOLED)cylinder barrels made from grey cast-iron by the special “Shell Moulding Process" cause wear resisting close grained iron casting and this ensures long life and efficient cooling.

DRY CYLINDER LINERS / SLEEVES made of grey cast-iron, manufactured by the "CENTRIFUGAL CAST PROCESS" is acknowledged to be the best method. It possesses the bearing metal qualities that cause skin healing after abrasion and a structure that is readily wetted by oil and retains an oil film.

The centrifugal force causes the metal to distribute itself evenly around the die. The resulting castings are of much finer grain structural and free from blow holes or porosity and the hardness is very good. It has enough hardness, toughness strength and wears resistance.

GASKETS are available in asbestos and non-asbestos material. They are available for various applications that covers such as air brake compressor, automotive, heavy-duty engines, agriculture tractors etc. These can also be made as per customer specifications.

PISTONS are madeof aluminum alloy through casting process. The ability of the cast material is having high strength, strength for high hot resistance for surface abrasion, better thermal conductivity and low thermal expansion.

The high conductivity of this material promotes cool running and the light but robust design ensures efficient operation over extended periods. Resistance to wear ring grooves, skirt, and gudgeon pin hole is greatly increased.

The pistons consist of bare compressor ring groove or insert of spheroidal-graphite (SG) alphin for long lasting.

PISTON RINGS are made from pig iron which is known as high quality cast iron with composition of carbon, chromium, nickel, and molybdenum.

These are individually cast and close material control ensures high tensile strength, resistance to wear and scuffing and to collapse at operating temperatures.

Piston rings are compressor ring, control (scraper) ring and oil rings.Each Ring is double turned and ground to maximum accuracy for smoother performance and low fuel consumption.

RADIATORS are having wide range of Radiators such as automotive radiator starting from smallest size of cabin heater to locomotive & marine requirement.

All this is manufactured in various combinations of tubes & fins in different designs depending upon the working pressure, heat dissipation, surface area & space availability.

Valve Guides are made from Grey Cast Iron and CuZnAl-alloy material

The perlitic structure and the reticular phosphide distribution along with the good graphite formation give high wear resistance / friction less operation to the valve and improved running properties in poor lubrication condition.

The available ranges are suitable for light, medium and heavy duty applications. CuZnAl-alloy Guides are with excellent wear resistance and low coefficient of friction.

Used for highest stressed guides.  The available ranges are suitable for light duty applications.

VALVE SEAT INSERTS are made from high chrome alloy and produced by centrifugal cast process to obtain closed grain dense structure to meet their functional properties.

VALVE TAPPETS are made from “Chilled Cast Iron” in shell mounding, which provides hardness of 58-60 towards the wear face of high speed engines, and above hardness 75-78 towards the wear face of tappets for high temperature and speed engines.

VALVES made from steel (bimetal, magnetic and non magnetic), Inlet valve made chrome-silicon alloy steel and exhaust from chrome-nickel-silicon alloy steel (to operate under high temperature and high stress conditions).

Valves stem are hard chrome plating which increases the surface hardening and wear resistance of the Stem. This improves resistance to corrosion with consequent sliding ease.

A very critical component, it must be checked for smooth operation of fan, shafts, pulleys and belts. Appropriate material will ensure smooth running under high temperature caused by centrifugal forces.

Avoid tap on the shaft as it may result in damage to the ball. The fan should seat squarely with the Pump Shaft. Improper fan and pulley cause damage.

WET CYLINDER LINERS made of grey cast-iron, manufactured by the "CENTRIFUGAL CAST PROCESS" is acknowledged to be the best method. It possesses the bearing metal qualities that cause skin healing after abrasion and a structure that is readily wetted by oil and retains an oil film.

Corrosion resistance is further improved by adding Chromium in the metal. In the centrifugal casting process, the molten metals is poured into a metal mould or die which is revolving at a high speed.

The centrifugal force causes the metal to distribute itself evenly around the die. The resulting castings are of much finer grain structural and free from blow holes or porosity and the hardness is very good.

A further important advantage is that the impurities, being lighter than the iron, are forced centrifugally to the bore surface from which they are removed by machining.
